From October 16–18, 2025, at ICONSIAM, Bangkok, VEGACOSMOS, a member of VEGASTAR Technology Group, officially participated in the Thailand Space Expo (TSX 2025)—the largest geospatial exhibition and forum in Southeast Asia, organized by GISTDA (Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency of Thailand).
VEGACOSMOS was proud to be the sole representative from Vietnam at Thailand Space Expo 2025. With an international scale featuring over 150 speakers, 60 exhibition booths, 30 panel discussions, and more than 20 specialized workshops, TSX 2025 served as a vital platform connecting industry leaders, research institutions, and space technology enterprises across the region. VEGACOSMOS’s presence not only reaffirmed Vietnam’s domestic technological capabilities but also opened new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships within the ASEAN region.

VEGACOSMOS and GISTDA Signed Strategic Partnership: A Milestone in Regional Space Technology Development
One of the key highlights of Thailand Space Expo 2025 was the strategic partnership signing ceremony between VEGACOSMOS and GISTDA. This event marked a significant milestone in bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand in the fields of space technology and geospatial science.
Representatives of VEGACOSMOS and GISTDA signed strategic cooperation agreement at TSX 2025.
Under the agreement, both parties will jointly strengthen research capacity, share satellite data and technological expertise, and promote the deployment of practical geospatial solutions to support sustainable regional development. The collaboration also aims to enhance professional capacity for young engineers and scientists in both countries, while expanding bilateral projects in artificial intelligence (AI) and applied geospatial technologies for spatial planning, natural resource management, disaster risk reduction, and environmental protection.
The signing ceremony took place in a formal setting, witnessed by representatives of numerous international organizations. In remarks delivered at the event, a representative of VEGACOSMOS emphasized that the strategic partnership is not merely a technological agreement but a long-term commitment to integrating Vietnamese expertise into the broader Southeast Asian space technology ecosystem—contributing to elevating Vietnam’s technological capabilities to regional and international levels.
Showcasing the Core Technology GEOHUB AI Engine – A “Make in Vietnam” Breakthrough
VEGACOSMOS booth attracted significant attention from experts and international media with the introduction of its core technology platform: GEOHUB AI Engine – GEOGPT & GEOAI. This intelligent geospatial platform was developed by VEGACOSMOS’s team of experts and engineers in Vietnam, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and satellite data to deliver real-time analytics, monitoring, and decision-support capabilities.
GEOHUB AI Engine operates under a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, enabling flexible user access via the Geohub.ai platform. With its capability to rapidly process and visualize satellite imagery and geospatial datasets, the platform empowers government agencies, organizations, and enterprises to optimize spatial data analysis workflows, enhance monitoring capacity, and improve strategic decision-making.

The platform has been piloted across several critical sectors, including forest monitoring, early fire warning systems, land-use change detection, urban planning management, environmental monitoring, air quality and water resource assessment. GEOHUB AI Engine has also been applied in smart agriculture models, contributing to increased productivity, reduced disaster risks, and improved climate change adaptation.
